Klaus Badelt

One of Hans Zimmer's many proteges, Badelt was the primary composer for the first Pirates of the Caribbean film, drawing on his own material and a suite composed by Zimmer. He was asked to add electronic elements to Michael Kamen's X-Men score and also composed the popular score to The Time Machine. The Promise, a Chinese film, features one of Badelt's best and most orchestrally lush scores.
